BGC Wolf Creek provides safe, supportive places where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.

Promo with information for BGC Wolf Creek's new free program for children ages 3-6. Rewild Nature Program is every Wednesday, starting Oct 15, 2025 from 9:00am-11:30am, at the Ponoka Youth Centre. June 2025 calendar for After School Care and Schools Out Day programs with activities and themes. There is one SOD day on June 6th. Last day of program is June 25.

Ponoka BGC Wolf Creek School's Out Days for 2025-2026 school PD days. Full-day child care programs are $40/day from 8:00-5:30 pm on school PD Days. Pre-registration is required.

Ponoka September 2025 calendar of activities and themes for After School Care and Schools Out Day programs. There are two Schools Out Days - Sept 19th and Sept 30th that there is full day programs provided at BGC Wolf Creek.

After School Program

The After School Program is offered Monday-Friday at the Club which is located at the Ponoka Youth Centre. It runs from 3:00 – 5:30pm and the cost is $12.00 per day. (Government Child Care Subsidy is available for qualifying families.) Program activities include healthy snacks, games, creative projects, active play and making new friends! Pre-registration is required for this program.

S.O.D. (School's Out Day) Program

The S.O.D. Program is offered during school Professional Development days at the Club which is located at the Ponoka Youth Centre. It runs from 8:30am – 5:30pm and the cost ranges from $40.00 – $45.00 per day. (Government Child Care Subsidy is available for qualifying families.) Program activities include community field trips, outdoor and gym play, as well as arts, games and time with friends! Pre-registration is required for this program.

Lead Up

Lead Up is a leadership program for grades 6-9 that focuses on five core elements: service to club and community, teamwork, healthy choices, leadership, and learning. You are encouraged to get involved and give back to your community while learning valuable leadership skills. The Club meets once a week and is mentored by an adult staff member.

Every Monday from 3:15 – 5:30 pm

Level Up

On Tuesdays its all about junior high! Youth in grades 6-9 can come and hang out in the teen room. Play a round of pool or ping pong, challenge a friend to a game on the PS4 or Nintendo switch, eat free snacks, and try weekly crafts and activities!

Chess Club

On Wednesdays its Chess Club for youth in grades 6-12. Come learn how to play chess and challenge a friend for prizes.

Monday Drop In

Kick off the week the right way! Hang out with friends, play games, enjoy free snacks, and jump into fun activities.

Dinner and Drop In

Hanging out and dinner! Need we say more? Dinner and Drop In is a program where you can learn some of the cooking basics, etiquette and having those quality conversations while enjoying a dinner together! Dinner is served at 5pm!

Game Cafe and Drop In

Youth can bond over their favourite board game, try a new game, take part in Dungeons and Dragons, or just spend time with your friends. As well as learning critical thinking, and logic skills during game play, socializing is a big part of the games. Or, just need a place to hang out? Our doors are open for you to pop in, hang out and be yourself. We have pool tables, video games, board games, a gym, friendly staff and volunteers, as well as a canteen! Come hang out with us!

Need homework help? Not sure what to do for a career? Need some quiet time to do your projects? Learn On is the place for you! Join us for a snack, quiet time, homework help and maybe even a guest speaker! Pop by and check out our new high-tech computer lab!
